We come across different kinds of people on a daily basis. There are some who are strong willed and motivated while there are some others who are timid and weaker in spirit. But one thing is for sure, everyone is created in the likeness of God. Would it be right for the strong to point fingers at the weak and decide the moral standards for what is right and wrong? Absolutely not! To each his own. There are a lot of opinions going around about baptism, holy communion, speaking in tongues, etc.
We are all members of the body of Christ, a body where there shouldn’t be any difference between catholics, pentacosts or independent churches. We all believe in the bible and it should serve as the yardstick on which we measure our faith and lives. We simply need to trust Jesus and obey whatever is written in the Bible. As members of the same body, we have no right to judge each other. At the end of the day, everything boils down to our relationship with God. The question is simple, ‘Have I lived a life which was pleasing in the sight of God?’ And ‘If Jesus came to take His people, do I deserve to enter the rest God has prepared for his children?’
Run this through your brain next time you find yourself being a little judgemental. Think about it.
Have a great week ahead!
God bless you 🙂
